Directions & Parking

PLAN AHEAD! We have many options for how to get to and from the Indiana State Fair, including routes and parking options listed below.

Fairgrounds Parking

Fairgrounds parking is $10 per vehicle. Available parking areas are located in the Fairgrounds Infield, South Lot (38th Street) and at the Indiana School for the Deaf (42nd Street), while space is available.

Any vehicle not parked in a designated parking area or blocking traffic is subject to towing.

Accessible Parking

Accessible parking can be found inside of Gate 1 (38th Street entrance), in the southwest corner of the infield adjacent to the ADA accessible walk tunnel and the South Lot.

State Fair E-Z Park

These $10 lots are located south of 38th Street (the South Lot) across from the Main Gate and at the Indiana School for the Deaf on 42nd Street.

Pedal & Park

Save $1 off Fair admission when you ride your bicycle to the State Fair and use one of the free secured bicycle racks available off the Monon Trail north of 38th Street.

Available Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays from 10AM to 9PM, or 10AM to 11PM Thursdays and Saturdays.

IndyGo Public Transportation

IndyGo Routes 4 & 39 will bring you just steps away from the Indiana State Fairgrounds main entrance on 38th Street. Fare is $1.75 per ride or $4 for an all-day pass. Youth 18 and under and people 65 and older are eligible for reduced fare with proper ID. Plan your public transit trip to the Fair at www.IndyGo.net.

From the North

Via I-65 (Chicago, IL)

Take Exit 119 to West 38th Street. Continue 4.5 miles and the Indiana State Fairgrounds & Event Center will be on your left.

Via I-69 (Fort Wayne, IN)

I-69 becomes Binford Boulevard in Indianapolis. After 6 miles, Binford Boulevard becomes Fall Creek Parkway. From Fall Creek Parkway, turn Right on East 38th Street and the Indiana State Fairgrounds & Event Center will be on your right.

From the South

Via I-65 (Louisville, KY)

Merge onto I-70 East. Take Exit 85B to North Keystone Avenue. Turn Left on East 38th Street and the Indiana State Fairgrounds & Event Center will be ahead on your right. SEE ROAD CLOSURE INFO BELOW

From the East

Via I-70 (Columbus, OH)

Take Exit 85 to Keystone Avenue and turn Right. Turn Left on East 38th Street and the Indiana State Fairgrounds & Event Center will be ahead on your right. SEE ROAD CLOSURE INFO BELOW

Via I-74 (Cincinnati, OH)

Merge onto I-465 North. Take Exit 44A to I-70 West. Take Exit 85 to Keystone Avenue and turn Right. Turn Left on East 38th Street and the Indiana State Fairgrounds & Event Center will be ahead on your right. SEE ROAD CLOSURE INFO BELOW

From the West

Via I-70 (St. Louis, MO)

Take Exit 85B to North Keystone Avenue. Turn Left on East 38th Street and the Indiana State Fairgrounds & Event Center will be ahead on your right SEE ROAD CLOSURE INFO BELOW

Via I-74 (Danville, IL)

Merge onto I-465 North. Take Exit 17 to West 38th Street. Turn Right on West 38th Street and continue 7 miles to the Indiana State Fairgrounds & Event Center on your left.

Purple Line Construction on 38th Street update

38th Street: College to Keystone avenues

All Purple Line construction activity will pause on 38th Street from College to Keystone avenues during the Indiana State Fair. This segment will be open with two lanes of two-way traffic.

38th Street: Fall Creek Parkway to Keystone Avenue:

All Purple Line construction activity will pause on 38th Street from Fall Creek Parkway to Keystone avenues on Wednesdays through Sundays during the Indiana State Fair. This segment is open to two-way traffic using the southern portion of 38th Street.
